Jack stood in the shower. He stretched under the warm water, feeling
the knots in his muscles begin to relax. Sighing contentedly, he
reached for the tube of Dharma brand shower gel. He squeezed a dollop
into his hand and began to rub it over his body. As he did so he could
almost imagine the hands were someone else's. Jack groaned softly
thinking about those strong fingers massaging his body. He could almost
feel another presence in the shower with him, almost see the muscular
chest and beautiful bald head. He was jerked from his fantasy by the
sound of running water in the sink and someone moving around in the
bathroom. Through the filmy shower curtain Jack could make out the
shape of Locke standing at the sink. He hissed with a mixture of
irritation and desire. What was he doing in there? Jack quickly
finished his shower, then reached an arm out and grabbed the towel he
had placed in easy reach. He wrapped it around his waist and stepped
out. "Couldn't you have waited until I'm done?" He said irritatedly.
Locke was shaving, not concerned that anyone else was in the room. "I
wanted to make use of the steam. It opens my pores. There's no shaving
cream, you know." Locke replied, not turning from the mirror. Jack
couldn't keep his eyes from going to Locke's broad back and firm butt.
"We need to do something about Henry." Locke continued. Jack watched
the muscles in his arm flex as he stroked the razor down his cheeks and
chin. "What did you have in mind?" He adjusted his towel, not minding
that it came open a bit. "I'm having Ana-Lucia talk to him." Locke
replied. He ran his hands over his cheeks checking for rough spots. He
was completely oblivious to Jack's reaction. "Do you have any idea what
you're doing to me?" Jack thought. He forced himself to keep his mind
on the Henry situation, though it wasn't easy. He had been attracted to
Locke since shortly after the crash. He hadn't admitted it to himself
until several days ago when he had grabbed Locke by the shirt and
pressed him back against the wall to keep him from pushing the button.
It had been all he could do not to run his hands over Locke's chest.
His anger at what Sayid was doing had been the only thing that kept him
from becoming physically aroused. Right now he was confused and
frustrated by his feelings. Part of him still didn't want to admit that
he was attracted to another man. Jack knew coming to terms with that
would make things easier for him. For some reason, though he just
couldn't or wouldn't. As a result, he couldn't seem to interact with
Locke without arguing with him. His frustration was also fueled by the
fact that it was very unlikely his feelings would be reciprocated. He
was almost 100% sure Locke didn't swing that way. "Ana-Lucia is in with
Henry now?" Jack asked. "Yes." Locke replied. Jack adjusted his towel
again. He was aware that Locke snuck a quick glance when he did that.
He didn't think anything of it though. That was standard locker room
behavior that men and boys of all ages did. It didn't mean anything,
unfortunately. "You let her see him without talking to me?" Jack's
irritation was beginning to show. "She said she was just going to talk
to him. I believed her." Locke patted his face with a towel. "And since
when do I have to get your permission before I do something?" Locke put
the towel away and turned to leave the bathroom. "I just like to know
what's going on." Jack said, trying to avoid sounding petulant. He
actually liked it when Locke was forceful and went against him. With
some difficulty Jack forced the image of Locke dominating him out of
his mind. "I just did what I thought was best." Locke said. He left the
bathroom and went to the computer. Alone now, Jack sagged against the
wall. He closed his eyes and took deep breaths to regain his composure.
When he came out of the bathroom a few minutes later he was feeling
much better. He had "relieved himself" and felt in control again. He
actually smiled a bit as he walked into the kitchen to get something to
drink. Locke sat at the computer, also smiling.
